What is meant by the 'structured-based' approach?
Well, imagine you want to build a house and are waiting on your site for people to deliver all materials you need (e.g. wood, metal, glass, etc.) (='like just dumping data'). Later on, you could look at the collection and see what you need and what not. For small projects, this approach might work quite well.
However, for larger projects, it makes sense to stick to the structured-based approach. It is best to tell your deliverers which material you need BEFORE they bring it to your site. You give them a structured plan which shows what to deliver and you don't need to arrange something after the delivery anymore.
